I recently looked up some karting places in the Inland Empire and found Pole Position in Corona. I signed up for a membership and liked it. I went for a couple of weeks then friends started telling me about other places. I went to K1 Speed and thought it was pretty cool too, but I had no idea what I was in for.

A couple of days ago I was looking online and found Fast Lap\'s indoor gas karting and the outdoor track at Adams Motorsports and decided to try them. I was instantly hooked. I ran two races on a Thursday at Fast Lap and one at Adams and loved them both, but for different reasons.

Now that I\'ve run on a few different tracks, I can see that comparing indoor to outdoor tracks and electric to gas karts is like comparing apples to oranges to pineapples to bananas. But when Friday rolled around and there was no NASCAR truck race on, it was time to head back to the track.

And the one I chose to return to was by no means the closest to where I live, but it was by far the most fun of the bunch--Fast Lap. Not only did I go back and race three more times (until I felt like my left arm was going to snap), but I loved every minute of it and all the people who I raced with (strangers I had never met), but the employees as well.

I hope I get all their names right, but these people were not only professional, courteous, and friendly, but they were as helpful as could be to a new rider like me. Yes, people at the other tracks were also friendly and helpful, but the overall atmosphere created by the people working at Fast Lap made me feel like my business was appreciated there, and there is no surer way to get my repeat business than to make me feel like I matter as a customer.

This Saturday the Greatest Country on Earth celebrates another year! Fast Lap also celebrates 6 years in Las Vegas and 2 years in Mira Loma! Our second Ironman Race will take place this Tuesday June 30 at 7pm. Our last race had 20 racers show up for 14 spots! If we have the same turnout we will run two seperate races with both Winners receiving $25 Outback Steakhouse gift cards and a trophy. Thats an 8 minute qualifying session, everyone stays on the track, then a 50 minute non-stop enduro! Hey you cant do that in electric karts!

For a group of 70 we recommend our Endurance Race, Everyone goes out for some practice laps, then qualifying sessions. With 70 racers we would create 10 teams of 7 racers based on their qualifying times. We then give the teams about 5 minutes to statigize and decide who goes 1st, 2nd and who finishes the race.

Now we are ready for a one hour endurance race with pit stops and driver changes, non-stop action using the same race kart!(electric guys can't do that! Winning team gets Fast Lap Medallions. To find the Company's fastest individual, we take the top ten fastest racers (based on their original qualifying time) and put them out for a 14 lap shootout.. Top three get Trophy's! What better fun way to keep your team together!
